Malaysia Vs Japan

Hey YOU! yes you....

how was your weekend?...

mine was different than I expected.

While everyone went Japanese,

I remained patriotic :)

After all, Bon Odori is so been there done that..

 

 

 These were from last years Bon Odori in Penang

Instead of going this years one in Panasonic Stadium
(which is hard to photograph, and always crowded)

I ended up in the middle of a preparation of the KL Arts Expression

joining as the crowd gathered

 

and as news broke

was attracted by the graffiti works

 
 
 

martial arts festival

 
 
 
 
 

and even the Malaysian style stage show by University Malaysia

 
 
 
 
which amusingly had this style of keeping beats added in..

Unfortunately the festival only starts at 8 p.m.

while I had to be elsewhere at 9 p.m. 

so I could not see the opening

which included a fashion show?

 
 

not sure what's with the clowns though

 and they even had a face off

and a height challenge..(?)

well hope it was a blast for the rest of the crowd
