for an acronym that is one R short of crap....
it was actually quite interesting.

You know how they say looks can be deceiving?
That pretty much sums up this weekend for me...

Getting in Tune with Thai

I'm a sap for romantic comedies...
and when this MV by ‘Noona’  Neungthida Sophona
caught my attention,
I actually thought this was OST of a movie...

Monday 16 April 2012

I was excited about heading down to Melaka this weekend
for the Mean Machines event...
first time it is somewhere close enough that i can go

Bangkok: Father's Day Part 3 Night Flights

Finally we get to the best part
of the king's birthday celebration
For some inexplicable reason
when it is dark, that Thailand shines the brightest

Bangkok: Father's Day Part 2 Marching in

Continued from part 1:
after the coma known as my afternoon nap
I awoke with a feeling I may be missing out on something...
a quick peek out the window reveals that the parade had already started!

Bangkok: Father's Day Part 1 The Arrival

Of the many things I wanted to cover in Bangkok,
Fathers day was one of them....

Flashing, not always a bad thing

I opened it
with all the finesse and delicacy
of a teenage virgin about to get some...
 to reveal her undergarment
and as I peeked under the hood,
my excitement rose to new heights...
as I ripped through the last line of defense
just as quickly and clumsily...
to reveal her naked body laying before my very eyes...

Bangkok: Night Spots

Bangkok has a little something for everyone,
boy, girl, straight or gay...
So what is a trip to Bangkok
without checking out the night life...?

Wednesday 11 April 2012

Bangkok: Chatuchak Weekend Market

How much Chat can a chatuchak if a chat tu chak tu chak?...
lame…I know,
but seriously what is up with this place…

Monday 9 April 2012

Bangkok: Soi Khao San

A quick google search on Khao San, and you repeatedly find the tag
A mecca for budget backpackers in Southeast Asia”.
And it is no wonder, as soi Khao San reflects Bangkok
as much as Glee reflects American high schools.

Bangkok: Hualamphong to Khao San

After 17 hours on the train,
the last thing you want is to wander around aimlessly...
As with any backpacker to Bangkok,
the first place to head to is  Thanon  Khao San...

Bangkok: Isn't it Ironic?

Even as I type this out, Alanis Morisette's Ironic plays in my mind.
A group of KL-ians decide to play it safe and avoid the floods in Bangkok,
only to face more flood waters than they would have seen any where in Bangkok.

Perhaps it is true that these are signs of the end of the world,
when the world itself starts rejecting its inhabitants
who have blantanly abused and taken her for granted.
And I would imagine that Mother Nature, like any woman, is a vengeful 31+c I-1

Pre Bangkok: Getting trained to Bang Kok

Finally it is time to write about my adventures to Bangkok
last December....
It has been so delayed that
I am currently in the process of planning my next excursion to that area

Friday 6 April 2012

It's getting hot up there

Since the dawn of time,
Man has always dreamt of flight...
which is probably why every year,
when the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Festival comes around
Malaysians travel there by the bus loads...
