Due to a bad scheduling I spent 2 hours walking all the way to see some cheap crystals..
to a god forsaken place... (ironically some call it a religious place though...)
and I spent another 2 hours walking back... missing out on seeing a floating turd...
more on that another time...
in order to cheer myself up... I wanted to look for some humour in this town..
then I saw this sign...
for the languagely challenged, it says..
."forbidden to throw rubbish on the streets... a RM500 fine may be imposed"
take a closer look at the guy in the sign...
aren't u suppose to discourage ppl from doing the act...
why show them having a good time instead?!?
I also been subconciously noticing some other matters...
take for example my room number..
nothing out of the ordinary... until you notice the sign at the staircase
where's my room? is this like a twilight zone episode?
so i took a walk... then i saw this shop
quite a popular food joint here...
I'll bet most of you cannot guess what they sell
how about now?
i'm lovin' it
speaking of food signs...
doesn't this look familiar?
and surprisingly there were like 3 other kopitiams with the brown and yellow signs
and this is outstanding..
best advertising ever...
they get their own street sign?
they must be a fan like I was in highschool...
nothing unusual about this sign
but for some reason steakhouses are the only night spots here..
not sure what kind of meat they're selling....
but must be good to attract the customers til late?
not sure if this counts as a sign
but how bad must their drivers be that they need to put lights on their fire hydrants?
and how bad must their students be for them to offer this?
didn't manage to photograph the shop itself... but they have a website...
by the name can you guess what they sell?
well hung man?...
or for the William Hung-ish?
or for the William Hung-ish?
The oddest thing about this town is that everywhere, you can find
graveyards!!
everywhere....! there was even one between houses in the kampung...
not sure what's up with that...
anyway, time to turn in... hope some of it was as amusing to you as it was for me...
